OREO BALLS
Meet "Cookie Dough" the mouse. He lives at the North Pole and works with his partner named "Cookie Cutter" the mouse. Him and his partner are called "The Chocolate Chipsters". His ears are made out of chocolate chip cookies. They deliver peppermint rocks to the reindeer bakers to put in their cookies and do business with them. He is not one of the reindeer bakers but he does want to share his recipe with you guys. He LOVES OREO BALLS!!! Let's see how he make them below!!
Makes about 48 Oreo Balls
Ingredients:
- 36 Oreo Cookies (finely crushed)
- 1 (8-oz.) pkg. Cream Cheese
- 2 (8-oz.) pkgs. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate (melted) or you can use white chocolate (your choice)
Directions:
- Mix cookie crumbs and cream cheese well.
- Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls.
- Freeze for about 10 minutes.
- Dip the Oreo balls into the melted chocolate
- Place Oreo balls on a waxed paper-lined pan.
- Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm.
- Optional: Drizzle with chocolate lines to make them fancy if you want
