
"Lemon Bar's" Whippersnappers
Meet Lemon Bar The Reindeer! He lives at the North Pole and is one of Santa's bakers at the Magic Color Bakery. He wants to show you how easy this SUPER SIMPLE recipe is for these whippersnappers. If you want something really quick then this is for you! This is just a simple version of this recipe but you can always upgrade it to make it even more better by adding more lemon flavor. Let's see how he made them below!
Makes about 24 Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg Lemon Cake Mix
- 1 Container Cool Whip
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- (optional) If you prefer a stronger lemon taste then use the zest of two lemons
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Mix egg, cool whip and cake mix together.
- (Optional) add lemon zest if you want a stronger lemon flavor.
- Pour your powdered sugar into a separate bowl.
- Use a 1.5 Tablespoon cookie scooper to scoop out dough and drop into the powdered sugar. Using a spoon roll it around and coat it well. This is a sticky dough so just use your spoon and not your hands. It will work better :)
- Place the sugar coated drops onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes.
