"Food Coloring's" Reindeer Cookies

Meet "Food Coloring" the reindeer who lives at the North Pole. He is one of the Reindeer Bakers for Santa. You can see "Pecan" and "Walnut" who are two mice brothers sitting on his hat. Two mischievous but innocent mice who get into everything. "Food Coloring" the reindeer loves to make his special Reindeer Cookies which are peanut butter oatmeal cookies loaded with some peanuts. YUM! Let's see how he makes it below!!
 
Instructions: 
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats 
  • ½ cup roasted salted peanuts
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter (room temp)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder


Directions:
  • Mix your peanut butter, sugars, butter, egg and vanilla.
  • Stir in your oats and peanuts.
  • Stick in refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Using a cookie scooper scoop out some dough and drop them onto cookie sheet.
  • Smash cookie down to flatten a little.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes.
